VR6Pete 1,455
it will cost around 500 quid including petrol, accomodation, track fee's, acf1818 did it last year
Seademon 0
i well up for it! Went last year, going this year & I'll go next year! Should be able to do it cheaper than that aswell, in all I spent about £250! I stayed in a hotel about 30 mins away from the ring - if you want the details Pete let me know - it had underground parking etc and wasnt very expensive.
badboyV6 4
250!!! Sound cheap! Though it would cost more than that in petrol.. Suppose it depends how fast you're tanking down there i suppose...

Seademon 0
Badboy - we took 6 cars and 2 bikes last year and we all spent around £250 but I didnt take my VR6 - I was in a E36 320i! Go to [link]www.eurothrash.com and have a look at the 2004 rally, we've got a trip diary and gallery of the weekend - If you've not been I cant put it into words how extreme a lap of the ring is! You'll be wanting to do lap after lap after lap!
badboyV6 4
how much did it cost for each lap then seademon? Im really looking forward to this already (and its over a year away!!!)
Seademon 0
It works out to about £6 a lap but you can buy a 1 lap ticket (15 Euros) 6 lap ticket (80 Euros) or a 12 laptap (155 Euros) ticket - I bought a 6 lap ticket - You dont have to do all 6 at once you can spread them out to last the day - you cant stay on the track for more than 1 lap in one go anyway, its all set up so you have to pull off etc - your car will thank you for it though believe me ha ha! Its great just looking around the car park at the cars that are there - Porsches, lambos, Ferrari's & loads of VW's! Lots of Mk2's there all stripped out and caged driven by the locals who know the track like the back of their hand 8) [ Edited Mon Feb 28 2005, 11:53PM ]

VRmonster 1
250!!! Sound cheap! Though it would cost more than that in petrol.. Suppose it depends how fast you're tanking down there i suppose... and what mods you have... turbo'd vr6' date=' lots ov vr6's to race, 1000+ mile trip or something. ouch, theres my £500 already. lolim up for it though, i was going to suggest to my mate that we go after watching this.http://www.godoftheinternet.com/m3_gtr_nurburgring.wmv (warning 50+MB)crazy shit, will also serve as practice for remembering your way round the track. he he.[ Edited Fri Mar 04 2005, 02:47AM ']
Seademon 0
When I did a ring trip last year I think I did around 700 miles - this year were going to Le mans (to watch the 24 Hrs) then to Paris, Nurburgring then Amsterdam and thats a 1600 Mile trip - tested the route last month in a diesel Zafira and it was agonising! Gran Turismo 4 is out on March 9th and has the Nurburgring on it right down to the smallest details -even has all the graffiti on the track! Only Golf in the game though is the R32 so Im gonna get practicing for the ring with that For this years trip we have the following taking part:Golf VR6 (mine)Sapphire CosworthEscort CosworthTwin Turbo SupraRace Prepped Clio 172Nissan 200 SXE30 M3E36 M3Audi S3Volvo T5Plus a couple of others that havent paid deposits yet so as you can see I probably have the slowest car x) But I'll do 'em round the ring! 8) We've got around 15 places left if anyone fancies coming - check out my website for details [ Edited Sun Mar 06 2005, 09:49PM ]
