acf8181 0
oil light will flash if your cranking it loads, thats normal.erm...first thing you need to work out is if its getting fuel. how much is in the tank? can you hear the fuel pump priming as you turn the ignition on (its in the boot)? can you hear the relays click as you turn the ignition on? shail 0
Check that your starter motor still has a good earth (braided strap can be seen from above). Mine was there but making poor connection = tried to fire, but couldn't.

VRmonster 1
yeah, id go for fuell too, thats a really bad culprit, try pulling the fuel hoses out from the clips in the engine bay and turn the ignition on, they should jump due to the pressure of the pump priming the system. id also pull a spark plug to check that you have a spark, just wit till its dark, or find a shadow and hold it close to the intake manifold and have someone crank it over. should see a series of little sparks to the manifold.if theres no fuel id say, pump relay. if theres no spark id say igniton transformer/coil. ive this problem a few times and these were the culprits. been through 2 coils/transformers, crappy things.
