cabrioman 6 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Share Posted February 8, 2011 there is a mark on the crank pulley that lines up with a mark on the plate behind it and there is an tap on the clutch which lines up with the arrow int eh casing ull need to remove the bung to see this and you will need a timing plate which goes in the ends of the cams so you will need to remove the intake mani and rocker cover ... im sure there is a how to guide in the premium member section well worth the money mate ull save the cost back in no time .... marky_boy 1 Posted February 12, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 12, 2011 worked out why she feels slower than she should!! the metal clip on the throttle adjustment is missing so i have ordered one from vw (47p+vat) and hopefully should sort it out as the tb was only opening just over half the way!
