topcat 0
Hi everyoneI own a Mk3 VR6 which a few years ago I decided to turbo. To cut a long story short I got it half done and then had to stop spending money on it due to other commitments. It was being done by a friend of a friend who was very knowledgeable but I've lost touch with them. Here's what has been done for the conversion:OBD2 VR orig ECU with C2 chip T34 turboDecomp gasketARP main boltsARP rod boltsSpectra Induction with built in MAF Bosch 440cc green injectorsTial 38mm wastegate with 10psi springForge dvRS Turbo spark plugsCustom downpipeSamco kitHelix paddle clutch Peloquin LSDI think that's everything.. The car has been running with the above non intercooled set up for the last 15-20k with no problems, no funny noises/smoke. It has regular oil changes and is always warmed and cooled etc I must admit I've got very out of touch with everything now and I really need some advice as to what else I need to finish it off and allow me to reliably run between 300-350bhp, I think this is realistic? Please correct me if I'm wrong.Any help greatly appreciated!

FishWick 21
Another daily VRT with no probs, yay! :-)An intercooler will make the torque stronger and more consistent because of the reduced intake temps.OE intercoolers won't really be up to the job of cooling a big turbo. They all run weeny little KKKs remember and they're expensive. Most people do OK with a ebay generic specials and graft them on.
