Heres my Vento which is currently a 1.8 but have purchased a VR donar car and just compling all the bits for the conversion here are a few pics of when i bought her

sprayed part of the front grill black while trying to source a early grill. Also managed ti get hold of a us GL slitter

Got the exhaust done at Styledynamics

Got a US spec from ebay

Needed a drop so next thing on the list were collies

Put the car up for sale to buy a VR and then had an incident with the following car

Seeing as this wasnt my fault this is where the real modding started so after sourcing all the bits i wanted i dropped her off to the body shop

Had the rear arches made around the 9j wheels ET15

This is when she came out of the bodyshop

Wanted seats abit different to the norm so managed to get some Audi A3 leather seats and modded the runners on the fronts and hacked a mk4 golf to make the rears fit.

Finished work and when i got to the car park was met with the following site,

Sourced some stickers at Players to mask the damage

Murdered the headlights

I have finally managed to source a Donar car and am currently in the process of obtaining all the parts for when i do the conversion.

No noises at all coming from the chains when started from cold. Cheers for all the info on this site. Great help when looking at VR's.

Will keep this updated once the conversion starts. Just waiting for the weathr to get better so i can start.

Yeah know what you mean. Most ventos have been sent to a early grave due to people breaking them. Will defo try and make it to the meets this year just collected all bits i need.

new clutch and flywheel (suggestions welcome)

G60 hubs and full brake setup (want to keep my wheels)

engine mounts uprated (suggestions welcome)

Thats it for now but it seems this list is growing.

Once the engine is in then sort the front bumper out

I already get discount at GSF and ECP due to family working there. Is there a full list of companies that premium members get discount?

Only reason why I mention it is because you'd save more than the membership fee on vibratechniques engine mounts alone and there are many more. Plus it helps support the club.
