Ben Seabrook 4
it does but you need a small piece of silicone pipe between the maf and the bmc mate
grom 0
it does but you need a small piece of silicone pipe between the maf and the bmc matecrap.where do I get one of those from?
Ben Seabrook 4
halfords or ebay mate or a local motorfactor place cant remember what size you need but just measure the opening of the maf and the same of the bmc to work it out
grom 0
could I chop off a bit of the cold air feed and use that?also will I be ok for a short trip driving with no air box attached?sorry if Im being a div
Ben Seabrook 4
dont think the cold air feed is big enough mate ?? I wouldnt as the maf is very delicate and if you happen to suck something up into it you will damage it and its v expensive !!
grom 0
It was back on to venom for a piece of 80mm tubing.I guess the cda will have to wait for another day, damn it!
Ben Seabrook 4
ah ok cool well once that arrives it should only be a few mins fitting mate

ez_101 1
Also need a bracket!?
FishWick 21
BMC CDAs don't come with a silicon MAF coupling. Only Stealth Racing supply that with the BMCs they sell. They have to physically cut a portion of silicon for you and pop it in the box. Can't really blame BMC unfortunately because it's a generic filter and not VR6 specific. VR6Pete 1,455
I actually attached mine to the pulley.... cut some of the supplied bracket 4 holes down, drilled one of the holes using an 8mm drill bit, hammer it into an L shape, and remove one bolt from the tensioner, and bolt it back in through the bracket...and here you can see it mounted to the pulley..its neat, and moves with any engine movement to reduce the chance of it popping off! Ben Seabrook 4
isnt that what the silcione pipe is for though to take any flex ? ran my ramair attached to the suspension turret with no probs plus if your engine is moving that much then your mounts are fubaard !! :)
