p0u1 14 Posted November 8, 2010 Report Share Posted November 8, 2010 hi people i have some scuby wheels that i want to put back on my car, iv hade them on with 10mm spacers and had anothe rub to ware the inside of the tyre away so is it safe running 20mm spacers or a bad idear? take note this is my daliy driver so it gets abused now and again Link to post Share on other sites

They are totally safe unlike the universal type sold on eBay.Universal spacers are just a flat plate, you'll get wheel wobble as your wheel is not located centrally on the hub. Hubcentric spacers are the correct way to do it, the wheels will be located correctly and your hub takes the load. Link to post Share on other sites
