VR6 Sump Guard

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

Been looking for a sump guard and can't find anyone who makes them other than Mason Tech, I don't fancy paying £180+ for a sump guard.

So are there any other alternatives available?

I've even been looking into getting my own made.

Any help would be appreciated.

Didn't know if this was the right section, so Mods feel free to move this topic.

Just reinforce the sump.....weld a strip of steel onto it...been done before and any capable welder could do it!

don't really want add 5-10mm onto the bottom of the sump as it will hit more often, it'll be stronger yes but don't want the impact having a knock on affect, plus I have an R32 sump anyway.

Shrick inlet is already very close to the bonnet, infact there is already an indent on the underside to allow the bonnet to close. So that's not an option
