DanH 1
words i dont really like to be fair........BUTlong story short needed a 7 seater this weekend, Avis fudged up big time and didnt have it when i went o pick it up. luckily 2 lads pulled out so an estate car was fine, even though they shouldn't of because i am 23 and was too young for the type of car, they lent me the only estate they had there because of there error.a brand new 10 plate, under 5000 mile bmw 320d m sport, exactly like this (but newer!) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2006-BMW-3-SERIES-320d-M-Sport-Auto-/310256069203?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item483cb3ea53i can report that i will now be tidying up the vr and selling it! this 320d was amazing! i loved the practicality and size of it. i loved the looks of it. i loved the super smooth auto box. i loved the interior. loved the sharp firm but comfy suspension. i loved the quiet td engine! it was faster than the vr and even with my heavy right foot and the cruise control set at 120 it did 600+ miles with 5 lads and there stuff on ONE TANK OF FUEL. the vr needs filling at least twice for the same jouney and thats with me and no extra weight in it! which actually stops me goin down south to see friends and family more often cos of the cost!ive had a few different cars, from mondeo ghia x to a '92 range rover vouge! drove my dads '97 740i but this 320 was in a different league. best thing was how quiet and smooth it was, at ANY speed u could here a pin drop in the cabin.cant see the point in feeding money constantly into the vr when theres cars out there thatdo everything better, ok the vr sounds amazing.....when ur foots buried, its mostly just anoying day to day now.jus thought id share this cos ive been very blinkered with the golf but its a no brainer now! with a baby on the way i thought the vr did everything well and would be a gd daily still but this has opened my eyes!
