vdubgirl 3
What a bunch of ****ers. Complete waste of space and time do not order anything from this complete shambles of a company. On November the 2nd 2004 I placed an order for a Corbeau forza seat frame for my valver its now the 14th of January 2005 and I've not seen sight nor sound of anything. I've spent the last 2 months making calls to them chasing this and always getting the same response I'll chase it up and get back to you. I never received one phone call from this company. I contacted corbeau directly yesterday to be told they had never received any order from motorworld. To make matters worse they made me pay a deposit for the seat frame before I ordered it ~I'm not a happy bunny to say the least so I've cancelled my order and have to now go though another comapny ~So bewarned if you use these bunch of cowboys there only interested in selling add ons for saxo's !ill

dubloke 4
had the same trpuble when ordering some base plates for dtm mirrors for the mk.2. cant place an order over the fone using a card, but they claim to be the uk's no.1 mail order specialist! i somehow doubt this, and they made me go in and travel 7 miles to put a 10% deposit on a £10 item, amounting to £2.50! cocksuckers is all i can say, and i'm sorry mods and admin, i make no apologies for my disgust at the service and muppets involved! avoid at all costs! cliveyp 0
Almost as good as the one Halfords/Ripspeed employee that "understood how i could be mistaken, as the MK3 Golf is very similar to the MK2, just with a larger lower bumper" and that "the 1990 onward MK3 Golf had 6.5" speakers in the doors, just like the MK4 that replaced it in 1992"Needless to say, i didn't buy my 5.25" speakers for the front of my 1991 MK2 from him! lolAlthough, i was tempted to buy an electric aerial from the guy that told me it was too deep to fit in the front wing of the MK2 so it would have to go in the rear wing instead..... TVR6 0
Motorworld, again! Tried making enquiries regarding some BSA rims late last year, was told that they don't come in 5 stud fit. Contacted BSA who said they did. Contact MW again and corrected them, they apologize, re-check and tell me that they do but not for the VR6 specifically. I question it and they tell me that they had consulted BSA. Contacted BSA who said that was Bo**ks but couldn't match MW price. Contacted MW again with correct part numbers and guess what. Deal had expired and they wouldn't budge. To**ers!

magic_tree 0
I went to motor world the other week to get an oil drain can. It is only 3 miles from my house. I very rarely go in there for the same reasons as the above posts. However, on this occaision, the guy behind the desk saw me pull up and we had a great chat VR's and reminised about MK1 GTI's. He has been into them them but had to buy a cheap car when his kids came a long. It's ok for little bits and bobs and tools required quick as it is just down the road, would never buy parts or serious stuff there. Maybe a cheap stereo or something!
