This is my second VR. I part ex'd the first one for a MK1 caddy but I missed it. The caddy is very nice and a real head-turner, but isn't very practical. So, I decided to blow my savings on another VR, and not the boring 'doing the house up' stuff!

I was thinking and looking at Corrado's, but when I drove one I felt a bit closed in. I saw this one and couldn't stop thinking I should go and see it. Apparently it used to have a charged engine, but the owner wanted to make rear wheel drive track car. It now has an ODB2 lump from a P plate (I think) but throttle body and ECU etc are ODB1, so it should be good for a re-map.

I LOVE IT!!! Plans are nothing to drastic, it has new Jetex 2 box system, K&N kit (sounds awesome) and I am looking to take it for a re-map.

Nice one. Looks like a minter mate. Yeh what size wheels are they. They look like 18s. If so what suspension set up have you got and do you know if there has been any arch work done to squeeze em on.

Thanks for the posative vibes, had it about a month now. The wheels are 17" and I don't think it had arch work. tyres are 205/40. The red brakes are not on it now, but front are bigger. It was charged with it's original engine. The engine and charger were removed to build a rear wheel drive track car with a P reg in lesser condition. It now has standard lump from the P reg (about 90k I think). ODB1 throttle body. ecu etc. Suspension is adjustable Koni shocks with Eibach springs. Eibach anti rolls and front and rear strut braces. Goes round corners very well. Now has Jetex 2 box system, the scorpion was very loud. Re-map as soon as funds allow. Yeah, the pics are the ad ones and made me go all the way to Basingstoke (from North Wales) to have look. I creamed my pants when I saw it was as good as it looked in the pics, it had to come home with me!
