AJmk2 2
Save up for supercharger kit , they come up every now and then for about 1400. Get supporting mods in the mean time so high flow exhaust.
vr6dan86 0
ok cool so what about a remap and six branch manifold
spadam 7
Six branch is worth doing if you are going to supercharge it but wouldnt remap it till you get the supercharger fitted. That is of course if you want to go fi

vr6_super 0
back on topic now lol 8-)i am in the same boat as u mate, i am planning on charging for the summer. choosing charging over turbo mainly coz of the lag factor. my gtir didnt kick in until 3000 ish revs and the vr engine comes into its own around 4000 so i want that oomph str8 away.i recently had a custom ss exhaust put on from cat back and will be getting the 6 branch and de cat pipe in next 4 weeks. the reason i didnt get it str8 away was the mot factor, which it passed 2 days ago, with a little help from some glue lolair flow is one of the most important factors for increase power after the chrging etc, but if u go down custom route make sure they put on 2.5" minimum, the one i got they tried to put on 2" which is only suitable for up to 200bhp, i wanted 3" but couldnt get it bcoz its so low, so we settled for 2.5"
MaidenVR6 26
6 branch will give little power, if any. I did it in 2001, and it gave nothing:) 75% off all people putting supercharger on VR6, is ending up turboing it. Including myself. Turbo and a good software is the thing:)
vr6_super 0
and how much did the turbo upgrade and install cost?
MaidenVR6 26
Turbo kits are avaliable alot off place's. C2Motorsports.co.uk will support you with great software. If you want 80 bhp more than stock without any mods, get a used Zr2 supercharger and a good software. The rest can be orginal. Its alot off fun:)
