MarkGolf 6
Whats the difference between heads?Been offered a freshly built ported headed for cheap(not sure if its AAA or ABV) Just interested that if its an AAA, would it be worth loosing an ABV head for it OR just keep the ABV.. Hiten 0
im not 100% but i think the head are same. best thing to do is to check them out on ekta and also check if they use the same valves. cams maybe different
MarkGolf 6
Cool...I've heard varied thoguhts. Some say they are the same, some say they are different due to having a different cam profile..But yeah, ETKA's a good idea!Cheers

Guest vr6neil
heads are exactly the same, cams are different with the aaa using a distributor & the abv using the coil pack, iv known a few people to use the abv head on a aaa engine, just had to change the cams over
MarkGolf 6
Soo. If I get this ported AAA head, can I put the cams from the ABV straight onto the AAA? Assuming the cams on the ABV are better...
VRVIRGIN 0
What about AAA using coilpacks?
