jasonoldy69 1
Hey people, just got some great looking bbs wheels off egay. I'm just stuck about finding the right wheel adapters though. The car is 5/100 I believe and the wheels are 5/120. I've seen your recommendations on previous posts such as H&R, but where do you get them?Cheers!

SamboVr6 0
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hub-centric-Wheel-Adaptors-VW-Porsche-Custom-Made_W0QQitemZ250528630123QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item3a54ab856bI know they are not H&R but my brother has had some made off him and they are great. The price is for all 4 by the way
jasonoldy69 1
Think I'll get the hubcentric ones, cheers for that sambo! Just out of curiosity, what thickness did your bro go for? I'm not sure whether to go the full 35mm - not sure how it will look...
Rikki 2
depends on the wheel offset....are they e36 328's?
jasonoldy69 1
the offset is 13? Not sure where to look for that? They're ET13 if that helps?
Rikki 2
and how wide?
sharky_70 0
you wont find adapters that wont make the wheel offsets negative which will result in the wheel poking out by miles even if is a 7.5j width rim
jasonoldy69 1
they are 8.5J... so I guess really thick spacers aren't necessary?
sharky_70 0
well my 8J ET24 wheels sit flush with the line of the arch so about ET-3 on an 8.5J is gonna be miles out15mm adapters are gonna be about the thinest youll get and theyll have to be custom made
dalevr6 0
If you search "PCD adaptors" on Ebay you'll find quite a few seats of FK ones for £150 delivered! and thats for 4 adaptors. quite good if you ask me.
morpheous1970 0
they are only 15mm though , richie vr says you need 20 mm for porsche wheels ?jt
jasonoldy69 1
Just bought these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370305882251So hopefully getting an email soon asking for measurements!Cheers again for your help people!Another question... I hear it's an MOT failure if they are too far out from the arch?
Ben Seabrook 4
the link above is for spacers not adaptors mate
J5KE F 0
I would strongly reccomd h&r, I ran a set of Porsche rims with 35mm adaptors runnin 330 hp and Nos on top with track use and they where faultless. I have heard fk's fitment are a little 'loose' butthat was 4 years ago now!
craggsy 91
Yep H&R for me. Have porka ones on now and had merc ones that ii sold to Martin. Worth paying the extra for

jasonoldy69 1
the link above is for spacers not adaptors mate Oops! The sellers asked me for measurements and everything. I've told him what wheels I need to fit to what car and it seems to be okay so far. May be he does both spacers and adapters?Nevermind ay. I'll just get the H&R ones from venom if all goes to pot! sharky_70 0
basically its not gonna workthe original ET of the wheel is 13mm. so if you use the thinest H&R adapters you can get (20mm) youll have a final ET of -7mm and the wheel will protrude ridiculously from the line of the bodythe blue diagram is the original set-up and the red is the projected set-upso even using 195/40's on an 8.5j (dont hate on me its easily possible) its not gonna sneak under
jasonoldy69 1
;( I don't think these wheels were meant to be hahaThanks sharky for drawing that out for us. Not sure what the next step is then. Do I still try them on, just to see?
