VR6Pete 1,455
I went Stealth Racing today;Had the following done;ARB'sSteering Colum KnucklesGeometry & TrackingOil ChangeRe-MapHad my ARB's fitted and my knuckles, all good so far! had my oil change, and geometry done on the car.Comes the remap, it SHOULD be running 210, but it was only pushing 190BHP @ the last RR day, Vince put the map it used to run on it before I was having problems with cooling. It pushed 206BHP straight out of the hat, the engine can do the BHP, but the knock sensors were going LOOOPY! in the high 12's..... We have come to the conclusion that there is detonation happening on my pistons, due to carbon build up.So now, it's going in soon for the timing chains & a big valve head, I think im gonna knock the charger on the head for a while and stick some 268 degree cams in! hopfully it should be sweeet again.... dont get me wrong, I'm still happy with the car..... the drive home was ACE! coilovers + ARB's - you MUST get it!Thanks to Vince and they guys down at stealth for sorting me out once again!Pete

VR6Rob 0
MK4 head gasket will give you higher compression not good if you want to go for forced induction inthe future.you might as well put a Lightened Flywheel in as well
