Anyone see the Haye fight last night? What did you think on the decision?

I thought he did really well, especially considering his hand injury early on. Adapted his game plan and did what he had to do. Must admit though, I was surprised he got the judges decision. Normally in such a non-eventful fight, they tend to sway towards the current champ. Plus it was in Valuev's adopted home country, so that made the decision even more surprising.

Well chuffed for Haye though. Maybe he can bring back a little bit of excitement to what is currently a dead heavyweight division.

thought it was a very dull weight, but anything other than Haye winning would of ben a travesty.

Valuev cannot "box" period.

He cant punch, his movement is dreadful, and he is as slow as hell.

The only reason he has been succesfull is for two reasons

1) hes a biatch to knock down due to his size

2) when he manages to land a punch its devastating

All his previous fights were against crap boxers who didnt know what to do.

He couldnt get near Haye, and Haye shwoed him what boxing was all about!!!

was very glad and surprised that Haye won as it will hopefully liven up a terrible heavyweight devision was a pretty poor match until the last round and Haye's comment about Valuev's head being like hitting stone was both hilarious and scary at the same time !!

was a really good fight, hay deserved the win by far,david hay is a boxer valuev is just a tall bloke with a heavy punch,slow as hell,at the end of the day its a boxing match and the real boxer won,really happy for him,he sure knows how to move although he didnt have his guard up much?

Glad Haye won & thought he deserved to. Gave Valuev a lesson in boxing. Plus Haye brings some excitment to the heavyweight divison that has been boring for a few years

He did make Valuev look silly didn't he! It was like a giant ogre trying to swat a fly and being 3 secs behind every time!

I think the other plus point for Haye is he showed he can box as well as punch and do it for the full 12 rounds too. But he will need to get his guard up more against quicker oppenents. Didn't like the way his chin was hanging out for half the fight.

^^ i agree, but think he is a smart guy and wouldnt do taht against better opposition. Against Valuev he did it to entice him and make him look silly. Haye was halfway across the ring by the time Valuev finished his swing!!!

I like the way in the last round Haye caught him a cracker and he started stumbling across the ring and still shook his head at Haye as if to say it did nothing, well im sorry matey but the world just saw you nearly fall on your arse, so it obviously did something didnt it!!!!

I cant wait to see his next fight, i really hope he gets a fight with one of if not both of the Klitchkos!!

it wasnt a stumble in the last round he was having a little Jigg looked really funny. He obviously normally wins by scaring people lol
