thegoth 5 Posted October 1, 2009 Report Share Posted October 1, 2009 resevoir is all empty and there's a fluid patch under the pump. think it might be just a pipe. need to have a closer look. but assuming it is can i just fill it up or is there some sort of bleeding required? cabrioman 6 Posted October 1, 2009 Report Share Posted October 1, 2009 fill it turn it lock to lock with out engine running first then run engine and go lock to lock but not full lock dont put the pump under strain to start with then run around the car back wards, then hop around it singing bing bing bong , bing bing bong whooop ..... then ur done ..... oh and check the fluid level with one eye closed Link to post Share on other sites

thegoth 5 Posted October 4, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 4, 2009 looks like I hit a big stone on my back lane and nicked a hole in the lowest pipe. has come of nice and easy and I will use the oppurtunity to replace another which looked gammy,How much hydraulic fluid am I going to need for a complete fill up?
