Like Rikki said it's far too thin to begin with so imagine what it's like by the time a VR is up to running temperature. When I used to work at a garage a customer put it in his MK3 Escort and it had leaks all over the place, sounded like a tin of nails but he said it drove much better and revved nice and freely.
