Miss-Vw 2
Ive noticed in the highline that the clutch pedal feels quite stiff to press. There is no trouble getting it into gear and there are no vibrations or anything like that.Would this be the clutch cable?
VR6Nat 9
the clutches on the vr dont have a cable as they are hydraulic, it may be worth getting your clutch bled, same principle as bleeding brakes, if that doesnt work you may need to investigate further as it could be the slave cylinder or something like that wearing out... but im no expert!! lol

Miss-Vw 2
Aaah right ok, learn something new every day Nope, no noises or anything. It just feels harder to push down compared to my purple vr6 which is alot softer.
VR6Pete 1,455
yeah, the old slave cylinders used to be metal and they perished, last replacment I got for my golf was plastic, clutch was silky smooth after.but it would be cheaper to bleed the clutch before buying a new slave cylinder anyway.I've also have issues with the seal going one of mine too.
