Didnt have any intention of buying a new car because I was planning on keeping my current, rather shabby VR6 as a little project. The plan was to get a new respray on my VR to a metallic black and get a nice black leather re-trim....when I found this!Absolutley mint black, 1997 3door highline. 76000 on the clock with FSH going for a good price, purely because it is classed as a category D car due to it being involved in a crash 6 years ago. Checked with my insurers and they said they are happy to insure me on a Cat D. So I drove all the way up to Milton Keynes yesterday to have a look. Pretty much fell in love with it, air con is ice cold and all electrics work fine. Mint black leather interior too, got it for a steal really for 1500, because the seller was having difficulty in finding someone who would take on a Cat D car. Whacked down a 500 deposit and I get to pick it up at the end of the month.Took it for a drive and it's got the beautiful standard VR6 purr, handles nicely and pulls well. Thought I may aswell save myself the money of getting my old VR sprayed and sorted out and just start with a nice little low mileage highline. So now my VR6 is up for grabs, either as a whole or for spares.So what do you guys think? Good deal? Link to post Share on other sites
