The Monk 50
The chassis sills are fooked as is some of the other bits of the underside of the car.....mainly exhaust supporting bits n bobs.Given what you've seen of my car, would you suggest selling it whole or breaking it...... engine was fixed properly yesterday and destroyed the underside of my car today.... I've had enough with almost finishing repairs, then accumulating more pricier bills.Just wandered what you think would work better. The chassis underside (sills, front N/S wing, chipped windscreen and rusty front O/S sills), are the only problems with it. But breaking or selling whole, I'm looking for 1500 for the lot or the car.Ideas guys n gals?

VR6Pete 1,455
Just re-shell it mate if you've spent loads on the engine recently etc... Thats what I did - spent over 3k rebuilding my engine to low comp, and wrote it at the 'ring a month or so later.just stuck it all in a mk2 shell after you know it makes sense. bungy 2
Give it some time and love. You'll only regret selling it. Look at the smile it puts on your face.

The Monk 50
Basically re silling it. I spoke to a chap who quoted me £180 to pull the floor and both sills back to shape, put restrengthening points on them and chip guard. Now I need to get a lot of the middle length of the car re sorted, protected, replace the 2 exhaust guards as they both ripped off and took the flooring with them, the rear sub frame bent slightly too.2 new tyres: £120Windscreen stone chip repairs £100..just get a new screen for £20 extra.Handbrake cable, rear brake pipes, rear pads and discs..around 2-300New/used stock suspention 50 - 200Just lots of work I have neither the money or time to do as I have nowhere to sort it either.Garages are up to about £60p/h too.If I had my own space and money, I'd do it......with the MOT being around 1 month away from the end of august, it isn't looking promising.
