The Monk 50 Posted June 21, 2009 Report Share Posted June 21, 2009 I'm looking for a new exhaust system that will be used with a decat.Coilover kit or a mish mash of dampers and springs.....to lower as much as I'm lowered atm...about 80mm.Good grippy tyres for general road use.Your thoughts or experiences.........p.s, I'm not going forced for a good while yet. soul-2-soul 3 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 Fight fight fight ;-) !!My VR had Toyo's on it when I got it but swaped them over for the set of Eagles that were on my MK2. I think the Goodyears are a lot better in the wet & slightly better in the dry. The Toyo's are a softer compound so will wear quicker than the Eagles so this must be taken into account when comparing prices. Not saying that the Toyo's are bad just think the Eagles are better Link to post Share on other sites

Never run the pod on toyos just roads but just ordered 2 new today for the front of the golf so we shall see. toyo strecth well too Link to post Share on other sites
