Jamesr_VR6 0
Wheat beers are awesum!!!! like a english ale but with a bit of body, will deffo be drinking some of them.TBF the lairyness usually comes with a mixture of lager/vodbull/wine of which i intend to touch none. Jamesr_VR6 0
I was at Oktoberfest a few years back and they had plenty of Ale??? unless its imported or not very commercialised over there?
thegoth 5
must admit I've never looked too carefully, just going straight to the bitburger. If you ask for beer in a pub you'll get lager.the strong belgium beer night sounds like a top plan.
Ben Seabrook 4
James think they do like a dark lager, it's not a bitter just halfway between a blonde lager and a full on wheat beer Me too Nige I could organise a little beer tasting type event
Jamesr_VR6 0
sounds all good to me, but ill still bring some of my own just to be sure
andylaurence 0
andy can i book u for a few passanger laps lol .... so cant wait for this now ..... any booked the ferry yet ????If I'm there, sure. Not sure what car it'll be as I'll be taking the wife and baby, so the track slag isn't suitable! Might be a rental. Who knows! As for the drinking beer thing, remember that beer + Nurburgring doesn't mix. I know I'm a killjoy but there's too much going on there for someone with a fuzzy head!
Jamesr_VR6 0
^^ correct me if im wrong and not sure what the others plan,But all my drinking will be late afternoon/early evening to as you say avoid having a "fuzzy head" and allowing for plenty of rest etc.I like to party hard but will obviously compromise under these circumstances
andylaurence 0
Yeah, I realise that nobody is silly enough to drink and drive on track. I was suggesting that it's worth moderating your drinking the night before if you plan on being on track the next day. You know as well as I do that a heavy night will result in you being a little sub-par the following day. If it's busy and there's a load of idiots on track, you need to be on the ball. Perhaps I'm going too safety-conscious these days!
Guest B.O.B.
^^^ As Above^^^^^When andy says just follow me..i wont go quick...dnt listen to him!!!!
andylaurence 0
Sorry about that! At least you didn't have to worry about going the right way. I'd like to bring the Mk2 back out again but not sure how to get it there. It's a lot faster than it was this Easter with the new engine and it'll be a lot lighter in a few weeks...
