is there no one in the UK who sells this kinda stuff with installation? at least i then know how much i'd be looking at for a SC with installation.

Midland VW in Cannock were very helpful (no bulls**t) and much cheaper than NS Racing when I got my Corrado charged.

finally got an answer from VF...

The questions I need answering are with regards to the belts and mounts. As some people are planning to install air-con on VR6?s that originally don?t have it from standard. How would they go about that?

Most aftermarket a/c installers use suppliers who deal with OEMs and therefore use most of the same parts if not generic that the OEM used. There are 2 types of setups on VR6:

1) the accessories are all on one bracket, alt, ac, ps.

2) the ps is on its own bracket and the ac and alt are on another btk.

either way if the car came with no ac, there will still be a mounting point available for the ac. in final, it makes no difference to our kits. we have in past fitted one on a UK car with aftermarket ac.

Does this mean that a kit that has been fitted to a car with no aircon will fit air con as well? :)
