binliner 0
My VR seems to be developing a problem, symptoms...When I pull away in the morning the engine seems to stutter a bit especially at low revs but it clears past 2000 or so.... it's like it needs to clear its throat... if I dip the clutch and put my foot down it clears it but it doesnt fully go away till everythings properly warmed up.Its happened the last 2 or 3 days both of which have been dampany ideas? six appeal 53
Leads or Plugs Justin, when were they last changed? Plus you may have developed a small hairline crack in the leads whilst you've been swopping everything over? A spray of WD40 on them may help?Mine did them same a few years back, found No.5 lead faulty, and only did it when it was damp/cold, as soon as heat in the engine bay all was fine. binliner 0
yeah was thinking along those lines... the plugs are only about 500 miles old but the leads have been on and off a lot lately
VR6Rich 3
Ive had a similar problem recently. Turned out one of the leads was arching at the coil-pack end. Cleaned out the inside of the lead and the problem has gone away now. Maybe you have a similar problem Justin? Can you hear any 'cracking' from the engine bay?
