xyber 1 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Share Posted July 8, 2008 basically the standard mani is not brilliant, its a little restrictive and cylinders 1 and 6 dont get a equal charge, so cutting out the T shape just equals it all out and helps it breath abit deeper Link to post Share on other sites

gav_113 0 Posted July 10, 2008 Report Share Posted July 10, 2008 i done mine like that.. but machined it on a mill.. alot neater.. i have also a enlarged TB.. as said it is similar to a 2.9 one.. which is why i did it coz i have a 2.9 bottom end.. not sure if its worth doing on a 2.8 tho? A modification that will not only take ages and a lot of effort to do and b. More than likely make no difference what so ever to the performance of the car and may even reduce power?!!!
