purple highline monster 0
Number plates again!! right guys this is the definitive guide! Any car registered after 1973 has to wear a reflective white plate on the front and a yellow on the rear, pre 73 black and silver were standard, later cars can wear pre 73 reg but the plate has to conform regulations regarding to the age of the car!!!Letters and Numbers MUST be of the Charles Wright type face, plates/cars made before 2001 can display the earlier larger type letters and numbers 79mm height and 57mm width (the later plates on **51 *** etc cars have the same font but it was reduced in size to 50mm to allow room for the extra digits on the plates)Pre 2001 the spaces between characters must be 11mm and space between groups in 33mm Post 2001 spaces between characters must be 10mm space between groups is still 33mmALL plates made after 2001 MUST have BS AU 145d the name trade mark or other means of identifying the supplier AND the name and postcode of the supplying outlet where the plate was made/boughtBUT if you have the old style type pressed metal plates (white and yellow) made at a classic car show or off T`internet they can have the old font, and they dont need all the BS marks or makers marks and postcodes etc, so the onus would be on the police to PROVE the plate was made yesterday and NOT 20 years ago (or pre 2001 anyway) GERMAN PLATES ARE ILLEGAL IN THIS COUNTRY, PERIOD!
