faigolfgti 0 Posted September 7, 2004 Report Share Posted September 7, 2004 My mk3 vr6 is using 021-906-258CB ecu,i saw another use ecu with no-021-906-258M,remove from passat vr6 so i plan to buy it to keep as spare and wondering whether can use for my vr6?Hope members in this forum can assist me.Thank You. If I'm not mistaken the ECU has to be of the same serial nos as your original as it's designed to operate certain functions in tandem i.e the ICV Valve for instance, has to be paired to the controlling module, ie if it's a later car, it may have a different resistance therefore not operate correctly...Sawwwwwyyyy Link to post Share on other sites
