VR6Pete 1,455
ive got VT mounts all around, they well worth the money... not bothered with comp ones... might have a front engine mount you can buy phil, no use to me with the mk2 conversion. go with the VT over VF ones, VF are too harsh. You can buy direct from VT, and save 10% with you being a premium member. Matt W 4
What about VF Engineering or the BlackForest ones as alternatives?OK after the above post forget the comment about VF

xyber 1
Ive got a VF front mount and about to fit vibras on the rest, the VF ones are very stiffAnother on to try is Turn2, alot of the U.S lads rate them, harder to get hold of though
Phat VR6 3
Get compertion VT onces. As said above the road onces dont last long. The gearbox one increases gearbox noise and cab vibration but i like it. Sounds like a dog box and just feels faster because of the vibration, lol
Matt W 4
I have read its best to replace them all at the same time. Because when not then the harder ones take up more stress and therefore wear out quicker. But when al done at the same time then they work better together and therefore last longer... philbatesvr6 0
i was told to do just the front and the gear box on as these take the most load, and if you do the rear one you can get ibrations up the steering coloum

Because when not then the harder ones take up more stress and therefore wear out quicker. But when al done at the same time then they work better together and therefore last longer...That seems to make sence. I know the gearbox one give you alot of vibration in the cab but not the stearing collum altho i can imagin that the rear engine mount could cause that, dont think that would be very nice to live with tbf
Matt W 4
i have vibra technics fount mount (£150)the first one was a fast road and it didnt last long at all' date='so i replaced the inside bit(£75) to race one ,well see how long it lasts....[/quote']How did you replace the inside bit?Did you use something else or get the replacement parts direct from Vibratechnics or a Distributor? Can this also be done to the other mounts should they wear out, the internals (rubber) can be replaced?
