S-reg VR6 Highline

why when you buy such an original car that has only ever been serviced/looked after at one VW garage, do you then go to 'performance specialists'. Surely if a car was in as original 'factory' condition like the advert says, you'd do anything to keep up the VW association with servicing etc? Maybe not, but I know I certainly would.

the reason it hasnt got a "full" history anymore is because it probably had one...it lapsed and then they gave it a mileage "haircut" to match it back up with a "specialist" you know someone like that to55er Quentin Wilson who has convictions for clocking cars ;) (just me ranting as he was trying to stick his oar around my way about illegal car meets and dangerous drivers, he was only there as an Anti police spokesman nothing else!), anyway theres no way in the world that seat has done 70k.... 170k more like, mines done 92k and it looks new compared to that, theres no prestige in a registration mark anyway is there? i saw an N reg yes N reg mk2 golf for sale the other day!!!! it had been bought and registered overseas so when it came back here it got "age" related plate!! so a reg mark means nothing, just means it sat in a field for 6 months longer than an R reg one did!!
