vr6turbo 27 Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 i found out a while back that audspeed gets his kits from of all places brasilit was the first kit i fitted to my vr and it was pretty good easy to install and gave about 260 without an intercoolerthis kit now comes with an intercoolerthe main problem i did have was that the early turbo mainfold flange had a tendancy to warp a littledue to the fact that the stainless flange was too thini see now that they have changed the stainless for a cast manifoldthe down pipe needed a flexi welding on as well and a 3 bolt flange to connect with the catcustomer service was great , i spoke to a guy in english as my portuguese was a little rusty.my waste gate diaphram deleloped a hole so he replaced the whole wastegate free of charge and had it delivered to my adress free as welli admit its not the best kit but hey it works finei managed to set it up to run 260 with no intercooler . the kit now comes with an intercoolerso i think its worth a lookheres the linkshttp://www.spaturbo.com.br/html/vw/golf02.phphttp://www.spaturbo.com.br/html/vw/golf02b.htm the turbo they use is a master powermasterpower have been in business since the sixties and export mainly to the usaheres the linkhttp://www.masterpower.com.br/eng_intro.htmfunky music Link to post Share on other sites
