binliner 0
yep it was mentioned in pvw or the golf so I gave it a try... its excellent, not as harsh as alloy cleaners that cost 4 times the price... good for cleaning grimey engine bits as well
j7dub 0
so is it just a case of spraying it on and leaving for few minutes do you still need to use a lot of elbow grease or is it much easier, does it just rinse off, wonder wheels served me well expensive though
binliner 0
pretty much so... I just sprayed on left a few mins and wiped off with an old towel

MarkGolf 6
I wudn't on a polished rim, as I remember using soda crystals on some polished thing in my parents gardena dn it went dull!Stick with brasso or autsol for a deep clean then finish with brasso
madmonkee 0
use my alkaline aluminium cleaner from work.... works a treat! leave it too long and it starts to etch
28v6r 0
I notice a lot of you have commented on polished parts, nought wrong there, but have any of you taken it that one stage further and laquered after the polishing to preserve the shine and last longer??No I'm not kidding, it can be done...just a thought from the custom car days... tandino 1
Ive had polished and lacquered wheeel on my Saab - the oe 16" Aero wheels i had on that had a dished diamond cut rim - the only problem was that the lacquer would lift after about 18 months.Probably not helped by hot brake pad dust hitting the rim and melting its way through the lacquer - good idea in practice but imho it wont last - look at the oe BBS splits that came on the M-sport E36 coupe BM's - they had exactly the same problem.Pete.
