There was a bang and when I looked the window was slightly down and wouldnt go back up. Tried both switches (dash and door) and they only put window down, not up. Motor is still working, can hear it but just wont put the window up. Not the best as my car is parked in town with black tape on it to make sure the window doesnt come down while im at workIve read the other threads about the wires breaking but mine seems to be still getting power as the motor is still making a noiseAny suggestions welcome, cheers in advance Link to post Share on other sites
c4mbl 1 Posted March 5, 2007 Report Share Posted March 5, 2007 Sounds like the "pulley" the pulls the window up and down. I think its just basically a rod. Strip it down and im sure u will see it has snapped!!! Link to post Share on other sites
purple highline monster 0 Posted March 5, 2007 Report Share Posted March 5, 2007 they jump off the teeth sometimes, its a cog system in the motor itself, sounds barbaric but open a really slam the door a few times!!! not only does it look very aggressive to passers by it shows your cars as hard as fook and can take it this fixed mine when it tried it on with me! SankysVR6 1 Posted March 5, 2007 Report Share Posted March 5, 2007 It might be the plastic clip on the window regulator that broke off. it lets the window go down but not back up.
