SiGainey 1
Hi all, can't fathom this out on my OBD2 Golf - i've got a missfire all through the rev range. it's noticeable at idle and I've put it on VAGCOM with 0 fault codes being thrown up... The coil pack has a very small crack in it but it started missfiring when it was idling at the garage (I was putting air in the tyres). The plug wires are fairly inflexible so was going to change them but dont have the time to risk that it's just this... Does it sound like it's wires?TIA
ingham 5
if the leads are arcing you will be able to see the sparks at night

c4mbl 1
Not sure how you would fix that mate!! When you buy a coil pack all you get is the part pictured below.Id imagine the whole "block" could be purchased somewhere but not sure of where or how much!My car was misfiring also, and i replaced the coil pack (pictured) and that sorted it out![lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1173031091_3722_FT162357_p3040373.jpg][/lightbox][lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1173031091_3722_FT162357_p3040372.jpg][/lightbox]
