VR6Pete 1,455
My VR has never ever ran properly when using Tesoco's fuel. Not been to a supermarket to fuel up the VR in a few years now due to this.Only use BP ultimate now-a-days anyway Pete
Seademon 0
Mine runs well on Tesco 99! Even if you dont need any repairs you migght aswell blag some money off Tescos cos everyone else will be ;0)Apparently the fuel contains too much ethanol and is killing the lambda sensor - my mate was down at mercedes earlier and they've had a few people in this morning and this has been the effects from this Tesco petrol that hes seen. rodney 17
OK so take this as gospel. I can't tell where I got it from...All Supermarkets buy fuel from all manufacturers and basically phone around and stock up on the best deal of the day.... So it is all big brand stuff.Better to get 10% of lots than 50% of not so much..Mr. Manufacturer The batch from an un-named manufacturer is tainted.. Trust Me!Morrissons and Tesco have the batch and MOST of it is SE UK.You have 2 options drain and replace or add High octaine asap to the mix to help. I would personally drain as per manufacturer instructions... When discovered - It was Origionally thought of as a manufacturer issue. However, after almost all manufactureres had 150+ cars hit them in an hour! They got to fuel by the end of the day..Hope it helps..
