vr6newcomer 1 Posted January 9, 2007 Report Share Posted January 9, 2007 hey guys, my port polished and gas flowed head is going back on this week...at last!!, but unfortunately i dont have an awfull amount of confidence in this mechanic, could anyone tell me if the cams shld be free spinning when put in? im gonno get him to put fully synthetic oil for the gearbox, semi in the engine, also is this lucas stuff any good?(a mate has it in his gearbox and engine on a mk4 tdi 150 beenrevo'd, and he swears by it) im gonno make him set the timing from fresh obviously, and is there anything else i should make sure he does? cheers in advance!!!!
