mike 6
alright ,Personly with 9k id buy a mk4 turbo aniversory, it has 180bhp unlike the early mk4 gti turbos with 150bhp. also its fully loaded with bbs rc 18s, leather, nice kit ect. mk4 4motion are ok but kinda seen as a poor mans r32 by some people and not much to look at instandard form.just my 2 pence. What car are you driving at the monent btw? purple highline monster 0
to run a v6 4 motion your gonna need about £40 a week in fuel cost for around 300 mile travelling, a vr6 will be no better the GTI will give better fuel return but is still gonna be a drain on £400 a month budget, what if something goes wrong with it??? tyres etc etc, get a mk2 GTI G60 golf much cheaper to buy, quiker than 4 mo and you can tell your mum its only an 1800 gti with an extra air pump bolted to it just dont take her out in it!!! rodney 17
you can get an aniversary TDi also which goes and looks good as you is havin to work hard that way you can fuel and chip It! (they're Rare tho')I think the advice on from VR Mofo is good as when you earn some more you can play with the Gti Anni 180BHP! and the parents will see it as just a Gti hope that helps
mike 6
how do you mean banned by you parents btw? get a vr6 and de-badge it nah to be fair 9k is a fair bit of money but i saved up a simlar amount at your age and decided o get cheapish mk3 for 2k, then after payin for insurnace and crap mods for a few years, stil had change and put taht towards my next car. c4mbl 1
Id agree totally with RCF, go for the GT TDI, still powerful enough, not bad looking, and being a deisel, will save u alot on your fuel bill.
