Pittuf 0
I've set my coilovers to the same height on each side (at the front) but after the wheels are put back on and the car is back on the ground, the drivers side is about 10mm lower. What is there on this side of the engine which would make it do this? Pittuf 0
LMAO, my arms aren't long enough to measure the height of each side of the car whilst sitting in the drivers seat, lol

Pittuf 0
Thinking about it, aren't all the chains and cogs on this side of the engine?
mina 0
The VR6 is slightly heavier on the front driver's side - I've always had to run the shock damping 1/4 turn more to balance with the passenger side.

acf8181 0
the only way to set up coilovers exactly is to have access to a corner weight guage...most rally preparation places can do this...but you'll wanna set it to how many people are usually in the car, as its changes the number of people you have. the vr6 is a heavy engine, much heavier than a gearbox, which is why it is lower at that side. FishWick 21
Absolutely spot on that man. Get it corner weighted. Makes a massive difference. The engine is lower at the side deliberately. It's designed in with the mounts.
