mina 0
Decided to lower my car a bit - I'll just have to be a bit more careful going up and down my drive. What's the view on the overall stance? Should I go slightly nose down? If so by how much? I know this is better for aerodynamics and will counter the inherent front weight bias.Or should make the car level? Although the way the arches are cut, I think it makes the car look as if the back is lower than the front.Opinions?Mina

six appeal 53
Mina, I think that the Mk3 is intended to sit slightly lower at the front, most of the kits that have been non height adjustable that I have tried have been this way too. Having messed about with the height loads on mine I've also found this to be the best handling/comfort wise. Although some may beg to differ?
acf8181 0
well, my lowering springs only lowered the front...i think a lot of lowering kit manufacturers don't like to risk lowering much at the back as it could screw with the brake biasing valve and make you crash (well, on early cars at least). VRmonster 1
well ive got mine level, and i dont like it. so i think im either gonna lift the back or drop the front. its already pretty low, so im gonna see how i get on, lol. id go for the front dipped.

Guest couzens
My nose...lol. is slightly higher than the rear which bugs me slightly but then I haven't scrapped the sump yet! I did intend to use some of those lowering spring retaining caps but opted for standard Vag ones in the end.The nose lower would be better simply because when you boot the cart the nose will rise up like its suppose to!! which looks mean
