My insurance company want to know the size of my spare wheel. Its a spacesaver type. Only problem is that it isnt in my boot at the moment as its on a mates car who i cant contact to find out. Anyone have a clue what size it is?

Sorry for posting this stoopid question.

I think they want a tyre size as well as the radius. My insurance have asked me to fill out a 'Modified car report', and there is a section on wheels/tyres. Other questions include "are your tyres radial or ply, and does your car have a brake servo?"

It seems overkill I know, seeing as ive only got an induction kit on the thing.

acf8181 - i know what you mean, suprised they didn't ask if it was horse drawn or mechanically powered aswell.

Pituff - im insured with Equity Redstar through Adrian Flux.

Anyway, problem solved, spotted another VR6 in the car park at work, left a note for the owner on his window, surprisingly enough he called me up and gave me the answer - 125/70 R16. VR owners - dont you just love 'em.
