jpc 0
This annoying squeak seems to have started after a jet wash the other week, when the car is reved over 1200rpm it stops. Also when I stop the engine it gives like a slowing down final squeak bloddy annoying.I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's a dry bearing rather than a belt, anyone got any ideas? and how to get rid of it?It's a 97p vr6 btw.Cheers. VR6Pete 1,455
My guess would be the tensioner pully bearing. I'm sure there is a guide for replacing the said bearing in the premium members guide section - If it isnt, PM me, and I'll forward it on.Pete

jpc 0
If this is the problem I'm thinking just replacing the bearing will be safer, what do you guys think of this one http://rswww.com/cgi-bin/bv/rswww/searchBrowseAction.do?forwardingPage=line&name=SiteStandard&R=4420076&callingPage=/jsp/comparision/comparision.jsp&BV_SessionID=@@@@0103011182.1159391542@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccfaddimdhllmgcefeceefdffhdgmn.0&cacheID=ukie
