VR40 0
Hey everyone, thought i'd post some pics up of my new ride. It's in great condition, but i just cant keep anything standardOnly had it a week but i'm not one to hang around. Let the modding commence!Day after i got it:Today; AM: spot the difference? That's right, no handles, mirrors or rear bumper! Everything was in the paint shop being colour coded..I've also ordered some coilovers and i picked up my new wheels last night! Thought i'd try one on for size.. here's a teaser!Tonight: After i'd finished putting the car back together with the freshly painted bits!! I've had the mirrors repainted and the bases done too, the door handles inside and out painted and the rear bumper and lower skirt repainted. Also got the early style front splitter being done but it reacted funny so its being redone tomorrow, i'll add pics when it's on!And what do you think of the interior door pulls? Has anyone else done this? (i've also added some chrome handles!)Comments appreciatedGreg
antera309 3
A good start! The body colour interior door pulls are a nice touch.Any ideas on what you want to do next?
VR40 0
thank you, i really like them, i think they bring a classy touch to the interior! Well as soon as the front splitter is painted, it's going on, the coilovers should be here next week so i'll whack them on and then i can fit my new wheels!!! Ooooh the excitement! Just bought a new clutch, airfilter and some samcos for the rngine bay and then im gonna start polishing i think. I really want some new headlights next as these ones are leaking

jonvr6highline 0
Nice Highline, especially in mulberry That cabriolet is the same one I saw near my house not that long ago (spoke to the owner on E38 - guess it was you, but you've different username on E38, Greg?), but had the same wheels as my Highline at the time.Jon
VR40 0
Cheers Mike, Steve, Antera309 and Jon!Hello Jon, yes it's me! I'm G40Greg on edition38 and G40_UK everywhere else. I've got a big involvement in the Polo scene what with my G40 but I can't have a G40 name on the VROC! That's sacrilige! So I came up with VR40, kind of a cross between the both?? Haha!Sorry Antera I don't know your name but yes that little beast is mine too, It's up for sale at the mo so if you know anybody interested... (it's actually flip paint, not silver lol!) Having too many cars is a habit of mine! It just has to go!!
