Geastb 0 Posted June 11, 2004 Report Share Posted June 11, 2004 This might sound strange but can someone measure the length of the dipstick from tip to where it goes into engine?When i got my car the plastic 'holder that goes into engine' was broken (a common fault i'm told) I bought a replacement off ebay (£2) and when i used it i found i was been running low on oil - due to the broken piece being a few mm shorter than my replacement part - I need to know that i'm not overfilling my engine!!EDIT: Thinking about it - could someone measure there plastic handle piece or even get a picture?cheers [ Edited ] Link to post Share on other sites
