    That is strange at my place we tell the customer exactly what we do and they take the scrap bits if wanted

    Have they done a good vacuum test on it as it could leaking air

    Ouch. Well at least it done and running again I can't believe they refused to work on old head it would have been fine to use. I'm rebuilding a head for someone at min they had head gasket go

    Yo peeps. I'm buying a vr6 engine to rebuild and turbo it ill be using standard internals with head spacer and new con rods. But I could really do with a part list so I know what parts I need for the turbo part of the build any help would be appreciated

    It only an ally head so you should be fine it's cause of labour that would go in to it but if you buy another head the same test have to be done just to make sure it don't leak

    Have you pressure tested the head? To see if it can be saved? Only asking as I do this for a living and I'm in process of buying a vr6 engine to rebuild for my project cabby. If the head is good you might be able to clean the valves and seats relap them and vacuum them see if you get a good reading
