Our friend Olie Beidoun from Michigan sent us a interesting story about this amazing 1968 Ford Mustang Fastbacks:
I bought the mustang in 2015, when I saw it I knew I just found a unicorn. It was found on Craigslist, and I had a deposit down in the car within 90 minutes of its listing. 9 different local people were waiting to see the car after me, assuming I didn’t buy it. It was originally painted Wimbledon white, with a 289 and three speed manual transmission. The car was built in Dearborn Michigan, and remains a Michigan car to this day. The car went through an extensive rotisserie restoration. The car is now painted pacific green metallic, a ford color offered in the 90s. On top of that, the engine was stroked to a 331 and has fully forged internals. It has a roller camshaft and TrickFlow TFS 170 heads. It also has long tubes, 2.5 inch pipes, airgap aluminum intake, and a Tremec Five speed transmission, with a hurst short throw shifter. It has 415 horsepower to the crank. The car was built with my own two hands, a true “built not bought” car. The cars suspension is lowered two inches and is a mixture of bilstein shocks and eibach coil springs. The car also has frame ties, and a 1.25 inch sway bar. It had the Shelby drop performed, effecting lowering the geometry of the UCA 1 inch. It’s wheels are 17×8 Coy C67s with the Goodyear white letter tires. The car also has Wilwood front disc brakes. I have plans to put Fitech fuel injection into the car. The car is named Canterbury, after the town where I proposed to my fiancé. I have No plans to sell it, as it has been my dream car ever since I was just a Boy. Volkswagen has released official details about the other versions of the facelifted Golf, including the most powerful and the base variants.
As in the case of standard Golf, the Golf R has suffered minor cosmetic changes to the exterior and interior. The vehicle has new headlights, LED taillights, revised bumper, the new 9.2-inch display with touch and voice-command operation, and the new safety and driver assistance systems. Under the hood the 2.0 TSI engine gets a power boost of 10 horsepower, which means the most powerful Golf, now develops 231 kW / 310 hp and transfers 400 Nm of torque (20 Nm more) to the all-wheel drive system. It’s enough to push the car from rest to 100km/h in just 4.6 seconds. The facelifted Golf R will be available as a hatchback and as station wagon variant.
According to the company the combined fuel consumption is 7.0 l/100 km for the hatchback and 7.2 l/100 km for R Variant, while the CO2 emissions stands at 160 g/km (hatchback) and 164 g/km (R Variant). The manual version of the car costs €40,675, while the automatic version (7-speed DSG) starts at €44,800.
The entry-level version comes equipped with turbocharged direct-injection 1.0-liter TSI, three-cylinder engine that delivers 63 kW / 85 hp. It consumes only 4.8 l/100 km and costs €17,850.
In addition, it is now also possible to order the Golf 2.0 TDI 4Motion with 110 kW / 150 hp, which consumes 4.9 l/100 km with CO2 emissions of 125 g/km. It’ll set you back €29,600, and €30,750 for a Golf Variant model.

Fastest Golf GTI Clubsport S outdid itself and sets a new record at the Nürburgring. The GTI Clubsport S managed to get around the legendary track in 7:47.19, which is about 2 seconds faster than its previous time. While the previous record (7:49.29) was set in April, this record attempt took place on October 26 in 8°C (46°F) conditions, which according to the company were perfect for keeping the car’s engine and tires working at their best. With this new record the VW Golf GTI Clubsport S has now even more widened the gap between him and the its fierce rival Honda Civic Type R (7.50.63).

The heart and soul of the most track focused Golf in the history of the company is the 2.0-liter engine that delivers 310 hp/228 kW and 380Nm (280lb ft) between 1,700 and 5.300 rpm. That has been achieved thanks to the a new fuel pump, an optimized ECU and the aforementioned exhaust system. The car accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.8 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 260km/h (162 mph). Stopping comes from modified 17-inch brake system.

Ford Mustang aftermarket performance parts manufacturer Steeda has unleashed its new Q-series Mustangs for 2017 model year. As in the case of previous editions and this year Steeda is offering three flavors of its Q-Series Mustang models: Q750, Q500, and Q350.
The ultimate machine is the Q750 StreetFighter, which, according to company is the most uncompromising and best performing supercharged road car they have ever built. It features a Whipple 2.9-liter Supercharger System, Whipple Roval Billet 132mm electronic throttle body, Whipple high flow 72 lb/hr fuel injectors, Whipple high flow cold air intake system, custom performance PCM calibration and custom cat-back sport exhaust system among others. All of that combined with the custom aerodynamic enhancement package raises the output of the 5.0-liter V8 unit to mighty 825 hp and 655 lb-ft (888 Nm) of torque. There’s also exclusive Steeda G-Trac suspension system that provides an exhilarating driving experience and outstanding vehicle dynamics. The lightweight staggered 20-inch wheels wrapped in Nitto High Performance tires round out the package.

2017 Steeda Q750 StreetFighter will set you back $29,995 plus base Ford vehicle. As an option can be ordered and Steeda Ultimate Drivetrain Upgrade Package which adds a Tremec Magnum XL 6-speed manual gearbox, heavy-duty 3-inch aluminum driveshaft, a race-ready twin-disc clutch assembly and a high-performance flywheel.
Customer who prefers naturally aspirated performance, Steeda offers the Q500 enforcer package. It features chassis upgrades, cold-air intake upgrade, G-Trac suspension and custom Steeda exhaust system. The package boosts the output to 490 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque (644 Nm) and can costs $13,995 atop the price of your 2017 Mustang.
Fans of the Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost can opt for the Q350 package, which offers a 342 hp and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm). It starts at only $6,995. At extra cost can be ordered the G-Trac Suspension Stage I and Stage II packs for better handling.

Leaked order guide reveals that 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 will boast 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque.
This comes as a surprise since Chevy initially announced that the new 2017 Camaro ZL1 will deliver an estimated 640 hp (477 kW) and 640 pound-feet (867 Nm) of torque. Now, thanks to a leaked order guide for 2017 Camaro we can see that the supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 will dispose with 650 hp (485 kW) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm). That means the ZL1 now matches the output for the Corvette Z06 and surpasses the 640-horsepower of the Cadillac CTS-V, but still can’t match the 707-hp output of the almighty Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. While the Z06 and CTS-V use 8-speed auto, the ZL1 debuts a new 10-speed automatic gearbox co-developed with Ford.

Besides the extra muscle, the 107-page guide also reveals some new components like a carbon-fiber dash inserts, a carbon-fiber gas door, and embroidered floor mats.
The 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 will go on sale this later this year in coupe form, while convertible version will follow it on the market in early 2017. Pricing is yet to be announced, but is expected to kick off at less than $60,000.

BMW has built a gorgeous car for this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the 2002 Hommage concept, which pays tribute to one of the most significant models in its history.
Created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 02 Series, the 2002 Hommage concept employs an aggressive “shark nose” front fascia with a unique twin kidney grille and a large carbon fiber spoilers at the front and rear. The concept also has two single headlights bordered by reflectors that provide the striking front end, as the BMW 2002. The rear-end also features some elements of the 2002 turbo such as the rectangular rear lights, which feature glass covers that only show the inner light workings when illuminated.
The muscular wheel arches bookend the rear section and accentuate the wide track, while a carbon diffuser integrates the now familiar two sets of twin exhaust tailpipes and wraps up the rear styling with a sporting flourish.
The compact proportions, long wheelbase, short overhangs teamed up with chunky 20-inch multi-spoke wheels on low profile rubber and a high-performance braking system promise ultimate driving experience.
There’s no info about the powertrain, but in all likeliness, it gets the M2’s 3.0-liter single-turbo straight-six that delivers 365 hp and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft).
