Mk3highline got a reaction from Bealieboy in Maybe a zafira gsi
It's had a new turbo put on not so long ago and the feeds seem good no play in the shaft at all
It's had the valve stem seals done before I picked it up
Just need to get the remap tweaked and find a front mount intercooler and hopefully stop there and try not to get carried away as almost bought vxr injectors and hybrid turbo and maf lol

Mk3highline got a reaction from D11PS in Next car decisions
I know and I've thought about adapting the rear arches off a lancer evo6
Ideal would be to have all 4 arches pulled widen track about 30-40mm and U.S. Spec bumpers, skirts and front lowere splitter similar to the picture and the front bumper cut out near the grill
All in good time

Mk3highline got a reaction from science in Mk3 v6-slo motion higher line lol
Well the difference is phenomenal now it's got closed loop and it's not over fueling it's socks off plus the little extra timing would of helped
But compared to the standard ignition timing on a 4mo ecu it's pretty mild , so will be safe enough for when the charger goes on
Next mission

Thank you
Well mpg has gone up even though been driven enthusiasticly
Just changed spark plugs and all seem really good for once
Got the original ecu back on the car too with the new map
So will be selling the other ecu with the current map on to use on a 24v conversion

Well I'm going to pick up the zafira next Sunday not quite the mid life crisis car but it's got a blower lol
Going to do the clutch new falkens all round and hopefully a front mount intercooler whilst I'm up there
Then I think I'm gonna take the golf off road if I can get enough poke from the Zafira
At the moment I'm gonna have to give up the rotrex to a mate to give kids a treat over summer holidays not happy

Possibly still got an air lock in the system and/or water pump has fallen to bits

Mk3highline got a reaction from daveyboy in grease and stuff
From what it says there there bit stronger and have a special coating on them
You can get them from TPS
I'd be tempted to have around 0.3-0.4 decked with the steel head gasket it will bring compression up close to 11-1
As long as you use v-power and have it mapped it will be good
And whilst your at it may as well get the bottom end balanced and have the flywheel lightened lol
That's what I would do at a minimum
