  1. Is there any difference in the ECU's with different part numbers or are they plug and play??? I have a few VR's, 2 x 95's and 1 x 96 and each have different faults and I'm just trying to get 1 running with bits from them. Each car has a different ECU part number and I want to put this in a car with a different part number, Can I do that??? Any help would be great.
  2. Does anybody have a copy of the wiring diagram for the loom that goes to the ECU?? I bought a VR6 today that's had mice in and eaten some wires. Things work as they should, the dash lights up ect but I'm getting no spark :@ Would be great to know what does what so I don't make any mistakes and would be could if I could get the beast running again. *-) Ohh its a 1995 on a M plate.
  3. I've been running LPG of a few years now and have never looked back. I'm now looking at turbo'in the Caddy on LPG. It should be very easy.
  4. I'm going to change the ECU and fuel pump relays to rule that out then I'm going to do some VCDC logs again and see if I have missed something.
  5. No fault codes shown on Vag-com. from memory. I soon as it dies I keep it cranking but nothing. I wondered if the immbo-delete has been done correctly?? Anybody know how to check??
  6. I've had a search and see this problem has happen to lots of people and did what most have done, I've had the immobilizer removed from my ECU on my 95 Golf VR, but it still only starts for a few seconds and dies. Would it now be the ignition switch???
  7. I am now fitting a VR6 that is running on gas into my Caddy. I'm going to do some mod's before it goes in. I am thinking of fitting a cheap turbo setup. I've seen a Vauxhall turbo running on Gas and that was very modified. Is anybody running a modified VR6 OBDII on Gas??? Can the Gas be mapped to your setup?? I want to keep running gas as its cheap!! ^o)
