my car is always insured.. just sying that i can not really afford it. 43yrs old proffesional driver for 20yrs. never hit owt or been hit.. over £1000 for a year.. would rather pay to have all un insured drivers feet removed.. no right foot, no driving, simples...

bit of advice please guys... when i bought my vr, it had coilovers fitted and was extremley low. i am a family man and the ride was way to hard.. i have lifted it all round but it is still rock hard.. you can jump on any corner of it and there is no movment... are my shocks buggered?

Electrical help needed (Battery/Alternator)

check the main wire to the alternator.. if it is not really tight it could be cuasing a spark and not working properly.. will see evidence on the thread of the bolt, if this is the case.. -

both back and front.. as soon as you turn the volume up.. the whole unit cuts out...doing my head in now...lol

need help guys.. just put new stereo into my car.. sounds chit.. put new tweeters in back cus old ones bin butchered...there is almost no sound coming out..if i turn volume past 5. cuts out completely.. something wrong with the wiring?.. took the panels off in the back and can see that previous owner, has done some wiring DIY... i am useless with electrics but am sure this is only a little problem.. be grateful for any advice or local help.. thanks for reading..

your a star paul.. just had cpl hours trying to make it look better.. not got a welder so have done temp repair till i can get sorted properly..

got new hatchback door fitted. then thought, will have a look at damage that was there b4, i baught the car.. bumper came off and i discovered this... .photobucket.com/albums/l585/drewbus/19042011028.jpg looks like a job for bungy and his welder...lol..
