dont think its head gasket, heaters work and theres no sign of water or oil where it shouldnt be. might be wrong but it seems to loose more when I rag it which would suggest radiator or pipes wouldnt it?

Ive noticed my coolant level has gone from just over max to just under min in just over a week. Is it safe to presume it needs a new radiator, or could it be something else?

as the title says, getting a knock sounds like its coming from under my feet, only when I turn right at low speeds. it also pulls to the right abit (duno if its related). ball joint or track rod end? what are your thoughts ppl

so do you rekon I could run 16s and a 40mm drop with no issues? what tyres would I need?

I had a mk3 gti 8v a year or 2 ago and droped it on its arse on standard 15" and had loads of problems with rubbing. how come ppl on here are talking about 60mm drops and 17s? surely they would have problems. If not then I want to know about it. what sits nice? I thought 40mm and 15s would look good. what are you rolling on ppl?

there seems to be a choice of fk, jom, jamex, rokkor and jsr on ebay for budget coilovers. have never heard of the last 2.

I put jom shocks and springs (not coilovers) on a 8v once, they were shit. didnt sit right, one side sat different to the other.

Im after buying some coilovers, cant afford any decent ones (dont want second hand). got about £250 should I just buy springs? what springs? how low can I go on 15"s without any rubbing? any advice apreciated. grom

hi all. new to the forum. bought my standard 5door, p reg vr6, 91k, yesterday for £1100 Just wondering what mods to do. got lots 2 ask, sorry if I ask questions ppl have already answered but I have had a search. lights: do angel-eyes work with xenons? angel-eyes or hellas? fk ak coilovers or jammex? what exhausts sound nice/not too loud? any advice on mods would be helpful cheers grom
