    i have found metal studs to replace them with so they last a bit longer just need to sort out the colour so i can get them powdercoated i hate orange

    allready got rid of plastic studs and they have bean painted orange so i dont know what to do? you can see the chrome finish were the paint has lifted

    right i was going to sell my mt1 but i think they will look good on the vr so i am thinking about getting them refurbed but i dont know what colour, i have a candy white vr with blacked out windows i was thinking gloss white but now thinking black please help and if anyone knows any good places to get them sorted let us know local to cambrige as poss thanks

    Hi all i think its time i start my thread. my names tom bean in to dubs since i got left a golf mk3 1.6 rolling stones a few yaers back by my mate smarty. well after 170k i had to change it so i got a vr so its done 120k with s/h bodywork needs abit of tlc. so far i have put coilovers on i also have to fit flush tailgate smoothed front bumper and rear bumper and mk4 lights, clear fogs (thanks ben) k&n fillter (thanks jim) debarged grill, dubpower ht leads and a set of mam mt1 17x8 fronts 9's rear and the rolling stones seats they look like this i will start getting things sorted in

    my new rims when i finish the referb gloss white with black studs this is how they look on a mk3 mate keep an eye on edition 38 sometimes there a good deal to be had

    steach tyres help loads i will be running 205/45 on my 17x9 and 205/40 on the 17x8 plus i will have arches rolled or pulled but not sure yet

    I bourght hotuning off ebay and got ta technics delivered they are much better than the jom i had on my 1.6 mk3 but i have only had them on my vr a week its down about 70/80mm at the mo till i get my rims on then i will sort it out i will be runing 17x8 front 17x9 rear

    Just to let people no hottuning coilovers are grate value for money. I saw some on ebay for £168 posted i put in best offer of £130 they came back with £158 i went back with £138 they came back with £155 so i went in with £145 final offer and they acepeted. I have had jom coilovers before on a mk3 1.6 and didn't like them to stiff. A few mates are running them one on a polo one on a passat they rate them highly for the money. They will be here by friday so fitted next weekend i will add pics then oh and they have 3 years waranty
